Only in America, do you land at the international terminal and are greeting by countless numbers of uniformed, armed, law enforcement officials. This reminded me of 1979 on our first trip via Korean Airlines to Asian. The plane landed in Seoul, Korea. Passengers were ordered to disembark. Like little soldiers we all when through the security check, passport check, baggage check, personal check and then reloaded on the plane and off to our final destination.
How grateful we were when we concluded our vacation and landed at Los Angeles International Airport. There were signs everywhere that says, "Welcome to the United States of America, " with the smiling face of our President and a feeling a freedom in the air.
This December, when we landed there were no welcome signs even President Obama's picture was just there - they didn't even have his name or a greeting posted from him. It could have been anyone - but it was our president
There was no music, no carols, no jingles, no nothing just silence and long lines of terrified visitors waiting for their individual interviews.
When we landed in the Philippines, a huge nativity scene was in the entrance of the airport and Christmas tree lights were begin hung in the parking lots. When we landed in Malaysia, there was Christmas music playing the the shopping area and bright lights and Christmas decorations everywhere. When we landed in Hong Kong, again, a very happy welcoming environment.
When we went to China - we actually were greeted with Christmas music in the airport, Christmas decorations and a Merry Christmas sign on one of their most popular tourist attractions!
What in the world is wrong with America?
Because we are so paranoid on immigrants coming to America to seek a better life...guess what?
They are not coming in droves anymore. They are going to places like Macau, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines etc. Everywhere we visited, it was like progress. New high rises and skyscrapers. Businesses flourishing! People (mainly Chinese) carrying shopping bags not from Walmart or Kmart, but from Cartier, Givenchy, etc.
The Las Vegas of the Orient is thriving. I am told that more and more American Casinos are moving to Macau, because within one year they can pay off their entire investment! Also, there are plenty of jobs in Macau.
So while we are suffering economically here in the richest and freest nation on earth, the developing nations are beginning to show signs of economic prosperity and they are giving thanks to God for their blessings! You know the boat people are not there anymore.
They were all given housing!
The businessmen who left Hong Kong when it transistioned to China are all back!
It was a very Merry Christmas (though the name of Jesus was unspoken) everywhere we went!
So they know someone is blessing them - they just don't know who!

THE CRASH IS COMING
If you know me, I am not a pessimist. But the "signs of the times" are very scary
right now. We have leaders in Congress and in the White House who say they care about the little guy on mainstreet, but I live with the people on mainstreet. And everywhere you go you hear stories of pressure, foreclosure, lost of income, suicide and the saddest of all, "loss of hope."
This excerpt is from one of my friends whom I highly respect. He too is an optimist and this is what he wrote:
I believe that our current national Government is actually trying to destroy the United States as we have known it. They are intentionally destroying jobs but talking about job growth. I cannot believe that the average member or voting Democrat, plus many others, can be as dense as they seem to be. I know, 52 % of the voters are on the Government dole in some way but they must realize that if our dollar is destroyed then they will have NOTHING. Of course we have to also realize that 20% of those on the dole, in whatever way, are fraudulent It must be recognized that less is far better than nothing. But when high school graduation is down to almost 50% and we teach no real math, economics or actual American history in our schools what can you expect but a bunch of followers! Then in college if the students take economics all they get is Socialism! This would be alright if it included all the history on what has happened to Socialist countries but it doesn't.
Creating infra-structure projects for jobs? This is exactly what President Hoover did and he was criticized beyond belief when the stock market crashed. But the blame actually should be on the shoulders of the bankers, the bond traders, the loan sharks, the lenders, the stock brokers and the US Congress. Those who were voted in to represent the people have represented them by increasing medical payments, decreasing social security benefits, increasing rents, increasing cost of gasoline and increasing cost of education. Yes, these legislators have Prime medical coverage, prime retirement benefits, eat at prime restaurants, live in prime neighborhoods all at taxpayor's expenses.
I could not believe it when I heard that public schools are now going to be charging $260 a year for a child to ride the bus to and from schools. That's outraggeous and they want to feed all the kids lunches? Why not just feed those children who don't have money and let the children ride on the busses for free!
This is unbelievable! The thinking is all off.
I know of people leaving the US Educational system and taking their RN and Medical training overseas. Why? Because there are great schools overseas that cost $800 a year verses $40,000 a year here in US and the quality of instruction is much better!
The United States took out moral values in public education in the 1960's. They took out prayer and they are trying to remove God. Instead they want to replace respect, honesty and integrity with the homosexual agenda (who cares?), with everything is okay, don't spank, don't correct, just medicate!
We have raised 2 or 3 generations of children with no moral foundation, who have no respect and no honesty. That's why you hear an increasing number of children killing parents for money or a credit card or for stupid things like they were prevented from playing video games.
This is absurd!
Kudos to those families who are pulling their children out of public education so that they can be taught and trained at home and not influenced by the lack of civility in the classroom due to lack of parental discipline and the handcuffing of the teacher's hands so that some classrooms are
full of mayhem rather than centers of learning?
Improvement cannot be accomplished overnight. But, it is time for good people to do something.
1. Run for office
2. Run for School Board positions
3. Take back control of schools and politics
4. Complain and make a stand for what's right
Of course it won't be easy. You will be criticized and the media will look under your bed for anything negative to say against you but the longer you talk the more they will listen. It's in the liberal's play book "keep saying it over and over again and the people will believe it as truth."
It's time to say truth and say it over and over again!

It is amazing! Everyone was talking about May 21, 2011. Radio show hosts, News broadcasters and the Internet was alive and buzzing about the fact that "good" people will disappear on May 21, 2011 at 6 p.m. and be taken to heaven, and the rest, the roudy, the unbelievers will all be left behind to face the impending "end of the world."
Most Christians did not believe that this was the day Jesus would come back for His bride. But it was none the less amazing how much publicity this event received in all the Christian nations.
May 22, 2011, today, no one can say they have never heard of the Christian belief that some day, those whose names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life will suddenly disappear from the earth and that event will mark the beginning of sorrows as the world has never seen.
Coincidentally, those who predicted the Rapture on May 21, 2011 also predicted huge and unbelievable earth changes: volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, wars, natural calamities and disasters.
Those living in tornado alleys in the USA might have believed or thought they were left behind as a huge tornado ripped through their city destroying some 200 homes on May 21, 2011. Around the world unusual events are recorded on May 21, 2011. as a tornado lashes Davao CITY, Philippines: Two persons were hurt and at least 22 homes were destroyed by a tornado that lashed a village in Davao del Norte on Friday, officials said today. Philippines has tornados?
Earthquake hit on the NEW SAN MADRID fault? How about the 5.0 earthquake in Taiwan, or the 3.9 Earthquake in Hawai, or the 3.0 earthquake in Oklahoma. or the 6.1 earthquake in New Zealand, or the 6.0 earthquake in Indonesia, or the 6.1 earthquake in Japan, or 2.9 earthquake in Oklahoma. Okay, these are small shakers nothing catastrophic like the one predicted.
But are these possible precursers to a big one?
Take a look at the earthquake map on the US Geological Survey Website that you can access through the http://www.drudgereport.com/ You will see not only one but hundreds of shakers happening every minute in the Pacific Rim. Then you will see the Atlantic Rim beginning to shake starting with the Icelandic Volcando and see in the mid-atlantic there are huge earthquakes happening, but so far it has not affected any of the continents so it has gone mostly unnoticed.
The Mississippi is swelling and that huge amount of weight of water is going to effect the land mass there. Where is all of that water coming from? Just the rain? Or could it be the ice that is melting in the northern regions?
If you believe in Jesus Christ, then you will understand why He allowed this sort of false alarm to take place, it is a FIRE DRILL, a civil defense drill to the believers, to get ready, keep their OIL LAMPS filled and ready, for one of these days, the Bride groom will come. This is all a code language to unbelievers just as the military uses code languages to describe their operations, so does the body of Christ.
So fortunately for the unbelieving world, the Rapture did not take place on May 21, 2011.
But unfortunately for the unbelieving world, now they will have no excuse to say when it does happen, "no body told me!"
Church, we need to get ready for the ride of a lifetime!
